We began working with Sandy in February of this year. My boyfriend and I are first time home buyers and didn’t really understand very much about the housing market, or homes in general. When we began working with Sandy, we didn’t have the money for a down payment quite yet. Despite that, Sandy kept us motivated by sending us home listings and taking us on tours to get a feel for what we really wanted. At the start of this process, Sandy explained that, when we walk into “our” house, we’ll know it. Once we finally had enough for our down payment, the search became more intense and rigorous. We were living in the Seattle area, but searching for homes up north in Lake Stevens. Sandy drove over an hour there and back, sometimes twice a week for us.
